Michael J. Mucci II

MICHAEL J. MUCCI II is a native of Binghamton, New York where he continues to live with his wife and children. He is a graduate of Binghamton High School. Mr. Mucci has been practicing criminal and family law for over 19 years. He received his Juris Doctor from Thomas M. Cooley Law School, Lansing Michigan in May of 1995, Cum Laude. Prior to receiving his J.D., Mr. Mucci studied mechanical engineering at Clarkson University and received his Bachelors of Arts in 1989 from Binghamton University, Binghamton, New York.

Mr. Mucci is admitted to practice in the Third Department of the State of New York and the State of Arizona. Additionally, Mr. Mucci is admitted to practice in the US District Court for the Northern District of New York. Mr. Mucci’s areas of concentration are in real estate, criminal law and family and domestic relations law. Mr. Mucci is a member of the Broome County Bar Association and the Southern Tier Defense Attorneys Association.

Mr. Mucci worked for the Law Offices of Remy R. Perot, as Senior Associate Attorney. In this position he handled hundreds of felony and misdemeanor criminal matters. He also represented clients in matrimonial, family court and real estate matters.

Mr. Mucci worked as an Assistant Public Defender in Broome County, New York, where he represented thousands of felony and misdemeanor clients in driving while intoxicated and traffic matters, drug related matters, property crimes, and crimes against individuals. Mr. Mucci also served as a senior associate attorney for Legal Aid for Broome and Chenango Counties, where his primary focus of practice included child custody and visitation proceedings, support matters, abuse and neglect proceedings, adoption, divorce proceedings and civil litigation.
